Favorite Cold Water bait is shaky head with 4 inch worm and float and fly rig. Spring time I use lipless cranks and lizards on Texas rig and Carolina rig and jigs. Summertime I use deep running cranks and Carolina rig and big jigs.

The question I am most asked is: ”Why do I only catch small fish” I tell them to slow it down and go deeper. My best way to fish in the winter is using 1/8 oz jigs on 8-10lb test line. Light tackle in the winter and remember that winter fish are deep and you really have to fish very slow to get that reaction bite.
